Ingredients

  • ¾ cup milk or almond milk
  • cup yogurt or dairy-free yogurt
  • 1 ½ -2 cups frozen fruit blend , must include either mango or banana for creaminess, or you can add avocado -- see notes

Instructions

  • Blend: Add the milk, yogurt, and frozen fruit to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Notes

Storage: Store leftover mixed frozen fruit smoothie in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Sometimes I like to make several at a time for meal prep purposes and seal individual portions in jars with airtight lids. Stir or shake any leftover smoothie before enjoying, since separation can occur.
Fruit blend: For a creamy smoothie, always include banana, mango, or avocado in the mix. If the fruit blend does not include one of these, add ¼ of a medium avocado or replace some of the fruit with frozen mango or banana.
Optional Add-ins: 1 tablespoon almond butter or other nut and seed butter, 2 tablespoons hemp seeds, and/or a handful of spinach. You can also replace ¼ cup of milk with orange juice or apple juice for extra sweetness, or coconut water for electrolytes.
