There's something about that perfect topping that rounds out your meal, adding depth and interest. For me, that was always parmesan cheese.

But since giving up dairy, I notice the lack of parmesan cheese all the time. On pastas and pizzas especially.

And while you can find lots of other recipes online, only this one is easy enough to throw together in no time at all, and is nut free.

If you're looking to add that extra richness that comes with parmesan cheese, I've seen vegan bloggers also include hemp seeds, which you could add to taste.

But for me, this recipe is simple perfection. And I will keep making it just like this!

WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS Nut Free Vegan Parmesan Cheese Recipe:

    • only 3 ingredients
    • all ingredients are easy-to-find with no prep needed, other than mixing
    • it’s naturally vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free
    • ready instantly
    • it adds that pop of flavor you're missing!

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU START:

    I wouldn't eat it on it's own.

Just like regular parmesan cheese, this vegan version is best sprinkled over your food.

I like it on pastas, pizzas, and salads especially.

You can add extra richness with hemp seeds.

If you're missing that extra texture, consider adding hemp seeds to taste.

    Make it your own.

Start out with a small batch from this recipe, and experiment with the next! I've seen people add onion powder, paprika, and other spices to their vegan parmesan cheese recipes.
